[CR22 II]

McDouble is CU InSpace's entry in the 2023 Launch Canada Challenge 15,000 ft COTS Solid competition. This is the team’s second time flying the airframe and first time competing at Launch Canada.

Standing at 3.04 m (9.97 ft) tall, the rocket is designed to reach an expected apogee of 14,183 ft above ground level utilizing a Cesaroni Pro98 6-Grain engine casing, housing an N-2500 solid motor.

The airframe is composed of commercially available filament wound fibreglass body tubes mated using aluminum couplers, a student built fiberglass and aluminum nose cone, carbon fibre sandwich panel fins, and an aft frame made up of four pairs of vertical aluminum stringers.
