The Tragic School Bus was CUInSpace's competition rocket in 2020. This was the first of our rockets to be affected by the COVID 19 pandemic, as the onset of lockdowns prevented the completion of the rocket, and led to the cancellation of the 2020 Spaceport America Cup.

 

This rocket was due to compete in the 10 000ft. commercial off-the-shelf category, with significant improvements being made to the aft of the rocket, including redesigned fins.  Tragic School Bus was also the first rocket to feature a student researched and developed nosecone, made from fibreglass and aluminum
